Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience managing client-facing projects, troubleshooting technical issues, and working with engineering/sales teams/customers.
- Experience maintaining internet facing production-grade applications in virtualized environments.
- Experience writing software in one or more languages (e.g., Java, Python, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cluster deployment and orchestration technologies (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, OpenStack, Jenkins).
- Experience with scalable networking technologies (e.g., Load Balancers, Firewalls) and web standards (e.g., REST APIs, web security mechanisms).
- Knowledge of managing Kubernetes in large production environments.
- Demonstrated understanding of open source server software (e.g., NGINX, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch, etc).
A successful sales engineer should be able to present and explain various network
infrastructure technologies (LAN/WAN, Wireless, Switching, Security, SD-WAN) to customers,
guide them through requirements gathering, and formulate a solution consisting of hardware,
software, licensing, and engineering services. Day-to-day tasks will include:
- Meeting customers to collect requirements for infrastructure solutions centered on Core (Route/Switch) Networking, Security and Wireless Technologies.
- Assisting the sales team in identifying and qualifying opportunities with new and existing clients.
- Building statements of work and task lists for various types of projects in support of these solutions.
- Developing high-level solution designs/architecture and present to customers.
- Working directly with Bridge IT Consulting’s Professional Services organizations on developing deployment models.
- Write and present Statement of Works (SOW).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Four-year minimum technical pre-sales or technical architecting experience
Expected Skills:
- Able to configure equipment and quickly adapt to and troubleshoot complex networking environments is a must.
- Strong routing and switching experience including L2 Protocols, L3 Protocols (Spanning Tree, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and DMVPN, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Consulting background or experience working with multiple customers is a BIG plus
- Solid understanding of Cisco/Aruba/Palo Alto technologies, including: Routing, Switching & Security
- Experience troubleshooting/managing Aruba/Palo Alto/Cisco products
- Experience troubleshooting/managing EIGRP/BGP/OSPF routing protocols in an enterprise
- network environment
- Wireless LAN Controller experience
- SD WAN experience

We are seeking a Channel Sales & Event Marketing Specialist to strengthen our channel relationships, execute joint marketing initiatives, and drive partner-led growth.
Position Overview
The Channel Sales & Event Marketing Specialist will be responsible for fostering channel partnerships, planning and executing partner events, and driving sales opportunities through outreach and lead tracking. This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive individual who thrives on collaboration and has experience working with vendor or channel ecosystems.
You will serve as the key liaison between Bridge IT, our vendor partners, and our internal sales team to ensure alignment, effective communication, and measurable growth through joint marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Partnership Management:
- Build and nurture relationships with strategic vendor and distributor partners.
- Coordinate joint business planning sessions and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
- Manage partner communications and ensure alignment on goals, campaigns, and pipeline opportunities.
- Stay informed on vendor programs, incentives, and funding opportunities to maximize partner resources.
Event Planning & Marketing:
- Plan, execute, and manage joint events (in-person and virtual) with channel partners.
- Handle all logistics, including invitations, venue selection, catering, equipment, and partner coordination.
- Track and report event attendance, ROI, and post-event follow-ups.
- Create and manage event marketing campaigns to drive participation and engagement.
Sales Support & Lead Management:
- Track leads generated through partner events and marketing activities.
- Work with the sales team to ensure timely follow-up and accurate reporting in CRM.
- Support outreach campaigns to targeted customer segments and accounts.
- Provide metrics and insights on channel-driven revenue and marketing impact.
Qualifications
Required:
- Passion for channel sales, partner marketing, or event marketing.
- Strong understanding of technology reseller or channel ecosystems.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
